The design, manufacture and assembly of the new Montréal metro cars will be undertaken at Bombardier’s facilities in St. Bruno and La Pocatière, Quebec. Bombardier is the world leader in rolling stock for passenger rail transportation. It has also developed unique, advanced technology for rubber-tired bogies. The company will offer its proven, cutting-edge technology for twin-engine bogies and its stainless steel carbodies to the STM.
