 "The need for high-quality industrial space in Poland continues to grow as domestic and international companies establish modern distribution operations here," said Maciej Madejak, ProLogis vice president and market officer for Poland. "With nine new facilities currently under development across the country, ProLogis is moving quickly to accommodate this demand. We are very pleased to be working with our new customers at ProLogis Park Chorzow and anticipate a high degree of additional customer interest at that location."     The new transactions include:    *  309,000 square feet (28,700 square meters) leased to two subsidiaries       of the Raben Group, a European third-party logistics provider, in the       second quarter of 2006.  The Raben Group serves customers in Belgium,       Estonia, Holland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia and       Ukraine.    *  188,000 square feet (17,500 square meters) leased to FM Logistic, a       privately held logistics services provider, also in the second quarter.       Based in France, FM Logistic has operations in 13 countries and       approximately 9,500 employees.  The company also leases space from       ProLogis in France.    *  144,000 square feet (13,400 square meters) leased to Reporter, a Polish       clothing company, in the first quarter.  Reporter will use the new       facility for storage and distribution to markets in Poland, the Czech       Republic, Slovakia and the Baltic countries.Also today, ProLogis announced it has leased 133,000 square feet (12,400 square meters) to Tesco, a global retailer of consumer products based in the United Kingdom. Tesco has leased the space at ProLogis Park Teresin, a 1.7 million-square-foot (160,000-square-meter) park the company operates outside Warsaw. Three years ago, Tesco acquired a 409,000-square-foot (38,000-square-meter) building from ProLogis at the same location. Tesco also leases space from ProLogis in the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom. ProLogis is Poland's largest provider of industrial space with a total platform of more than 8.5 million square feet (788,000 square meters) of existing space owned, managed or under development, concentrated in Warsaw, Central Poland, Poznan and the Silesia Region.
